Returns & Refunds

Returns & Refunds For ONLINE Purchases ONLY:
In the event that you need to return an item please read below:
Keep all the labels attached. If for any reason you are not totally happy with anything, please return the item to us within 14 days of receipt, unworn and with the labels still attached. During the Christmas period we extend the 14 days policy to 14th January for any unsuitable Christmas gifts to be returned by registered post.  Then, if we are happy with the condition of these returned items we will either exchange it (as long we have the items in stock), or we’ll refund you the amount you paid for the item - let us know.  

If your order is a gift please make sure you note on your order that this is a gift an extra 10 days from purchase date are added to enable an exchange.  This will only apply to orders that are marked as Gift at time of purchase.

Faulty goods

If an item you bought with us is found to be faulty and you are not to blame then you need to notify us as soon as possible and we will gladly either:
Refund or exchange it. (as long as we have the items in stock).
Repair it if at all possible.
We recommend that you get a free Certificate of Posting from your post office when you send items back to us, to cover you in case your parcel is lost on its way back to us. Please note that the postage cost for returning an item can only be refunded if the item is faulty or the wrong item has been sent. Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 days.  If we reject your return we are not responsible for the cost of returning it to you.  Please note our returns requirements above.

Cancellation by you

Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have the legal right to cancel your order within fourteen days of receipt of your goods (with the exception of any made to order items). You do not need to give us any reason for canceling your contract nor will you have to pay any penalty. However, you will need to notify us if you wish to cancel your contract.
If you have received the goods before you cancel your contract then you must send the goods back to our contact address at your own cost and risk. If you cancel your contract but we have already processed the goods for delivery you must not unpack the goods when they are received by you and you must send the goods back to us at our contact address at your own cost and risk as soon as possible.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Once you have notified us that you are cancelling your contract, any sum debited to us from your credit card will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible and in any event within 14 days of receiving your return PROVIDED THAT the goods in question are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. If you do not return the goods delivered to you or do not pay the costs of delivery, we will be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods from the amount to be re-credited to you.
You will be re-credited for the costs incurred in returning faulty or unsatisfactory goods.

Cancellation by us.

We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if:
a) we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered;
b) we do not deliver to your area; or
c) one or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers.
If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible but in any event within 14 days of your order.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at ohhbygum@gmail.com and send your item to: Ohh! By Gum, The Courtyard, Station House, Clifden Co. Galway, H71 TD96  Ireland.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return. 
  

Shipping

To return your product, you should mail your product to:  Ohh! By Gum, The Courtyard, Station House, Clifden Co. Galway,  Ireland
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item unless it is faulty and deemed so by us. Shipping costs are non-refundable. 
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over €75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

 

Returns for Instore Purchases: 

It is our returns policy that if items purchased in-store are then returned within 10 days of purchase, (in their original state, unworn and labels attached) with proof of purchase, the customer can then either exchange said item or alternatively we may (as a gesture of good will) offer store credit which is valid to use within the following 6 month period.  However, we are not obliged to do so.  Please note if item is a gift, this policy still applies with an additional 10 days to return the item.  

Refunds are only issue if the goods are faulty.
