At first glance, it might look like plastic but it’s actually made from liquid wood, a wood-based bioplastic called Arboform. Crafted from natural materials like lignin (30%), cellulose (60%), beech wood, flax, and hemp fibres, this clever material is strong, lightweight, and fully compostable.

To create Arboform, the fibres are heated and shaped into a solid form, similar to plastic in use but with none of the long-term environmental impact. Unlike traditional plastics, it breaks down naturally over time.
